Grizzly Bear (Ursus Arctos)
Once there were tens of thousands of these bears in North America. Today there
are about 1,000 left in Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. They measure
over six feet (standing on their hind legs) and weigh over 1,000 pounds. Their
yellowish-brown or black fur is tipped with white, hence the name grizzly.
The bear's catch of the day, thank you Cecilia for this card :)
