Morchard Bishop

Morchard Bishop is a village and civil parish in Mid Devon in the English county of Devon. It has a population of 975, and contains a primary school, two churches, and a playing field with tennis court. Notable past residents include Ernest Bevin.

Morchard Bishop is twinned with a village in Normandy. It also has a garage,a post office and a pub called The London Inn, a surgery, a blacksmith and its own woodland. It is a peaceful village set in beautiful scenery about 13 km from the market town of Crediton. It is a vibrant community with lots going on: the village pantomime, an allotment association, a Ukelele band and football teams

A Sabahan girl in traditional attire threshing rice at Harvest time.

Wow this card is a great surprise from my very happy go  lucky friend
Jesse who is on a Malaysian tour. So many nice things on this card, an
old never seen before card, an old stamp issue which also I've not seen
before and a bus ticket from Penang! Thank you Jesse!

Rajasthan

Rajasthan has always been one of my most vivid impressions of India, especially after watching the movie Yaadein with my neighbor back in my college days. The colours, the desert and the beautiful life made me curious about the different regions in India.
Thank you Rizwan for this beautiful card!

Umbrella industry

One of my favourite postcards from Indonesia showing
the cottage industry of umbrella souvenir art. It reminds me
of the huge souvenir "fan" that my parents bought from a
trip to Bangkok years ago with beautiful artworks of nature.
Thanks to Nia for this exchange
