Baku, Azerbaijan

WAH!!! Where is this place and how do I spell Azerbaijan?!
Google and Wikipedia is my friend ^_^
Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, as well as the largest city on the Caspian Sea and of the Caucasus region. Baku is located 28 meters below sea levelm which makes it the lowest lying national capital in the world.
Baku Crystal Hall is an indoor arena ,constructed in August 2011 and finished in April 2012, in time to host its first major event, the 2012 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
Thank you Martina for giving me a piece of Azerbaijian! Sent from Macedonia.

Waldspirale

The Waldspirale is a residential building complex in Darmstadt, Germany, built in the 1990s. The name translates into English as forest spiral, reflecting both the general plan of the building and the fact that it has a green roof. It was designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, planned and implemented by architect Heinz M. Springmann, and constructed by the Bauverein Darmstadt company. The building was completed in 2000.
Thank you Bianca for this fascinating card of the building
