Sao Paulo - Cable-stayed Bridge Octavio Frias de Oliveira - Inaugurated in May, 2008 the bridge connects avenue Jornalista Roberto Marinho to marginal Pinheiros and has a capacity for 8 thousand cars per hour. The "X" shaped tower is 138 meters high (few meters less than Italia building) and 144 steel cables that themselves weigh 492 tons. It is the largest cable-stayed bridge on a curve in the world.
