Valletta, Manoel Island and Sliema
Valletta, lapped by the sea on three sides,is distinguished by its straight streets that cross each other at right angles.
To the north, Sliema has expanded into a vibrant modern residential and tourist centre. Manoel Island in Marsamxett Harbour is being developed along very modern lines and will eventually house stylish residences and impressive yachting facilities.
