Ladakh, India

Ladakh, "Land of high passes" The last Shangrila, is a region oIndia in the state of Jammu and Kashmir that lies between the Kunlun Mountain range in the north ad the main Great Himalayas to the south, inhabited by people of Indo-Aryan and Tibetan descent. It is one of the most sparsely populated regions in Jammu and Kashmir.

If I ever braved the notion to travel India alone, Ladakh is the place I would visit for it's proximity to Tibet and I'm of course fascinated by the culture and people.
Thank you Gelek for this beautiful view card!
