Cork

Shandon Tower.
St. Annes Shandon has been a place of worship for over 275 years and is one of the oldest churches in Cork City, Ireland

With deep affection and recollection
I often think of those Shandon bells,
Whose sound so wild would in days of childhood
Fling around my cradle their magic spells
(Father Prout 1804-1866)

Thank you Marte for this card from your trip, hope you enjoyed visiting Ireland immensely, can't wait to go there and visit someday!
