to celebrate Cincinnati's Bicentennial. It attracts

riverboats and people from all over the country

every four years.

Ohio Balloon Glow

Ohio has many hot air balloon festivals throughout the state; with the highlight being the night time balloon glow.

 

What a fantastic view of the balloons at night, they look like giant lanterns!

Ohio has a long history of aviation. The Wright Brothers

constructed the first powered aircraft in their Dayton bicycle

shop. Ohio is the state which has produced the most

astronauts including the first American to orbit the earth

and the first to step on the moon.
