Gators

Louisiana Gators
Alligators inhabit the bayous and swamplands of Louisiana. Female gators
lay about 50 eggs, which hatch at 9 inches. They grow to 20 feet and can
weigh as much as 1000 pounds. Alligators use their short, strong legs for
walking, but rely on their powerful tail for swimming.
Thank you Heather D. for the postcard!
