In the Netherlands"Bommen Berend" (Bernhard Bombs) unsucessfully lay siege to the Dutch city of Groningen using bombs.A holiday of this name is still celebrated in the city of Groningen on 28 August to commemorate the breaking of the siege.

Lali hot air balloons

yay! my first balloon Lali card

Lali riddle cards are rather popular amongst postcrossers. With a German

riddle on the front and the answer behind a scratch-off on the back of the card.

This is the second Lali card that I have and I must admit they are rather cute.
