Nyonya Kebaya

In Malacca, Malaysia, a different variety of kebaya is called "nyonya kebaya" and worn by those of Chinese ancestry: the Peranakan people. The Nyonya kebaya is different in its famously intricately hand-beaded shoes (kasut manek) and use of kain with Chinese motive batik or imported printed or hand-painted Chinese silks. Other than Malacca, the nyonya kebaya is also popular in other straits settlements; Penang and Singapore.

Thanks to Serene for the awesome matching stamp and the Kebaya shaped postcard :D

Orlando, Florida

Orlando is nicknamed "The City Beautiful" and its symbol is the fountain at Lake Eola. Orlando is also known as "The Theme Park Capital of the World" and its tourist attractions draw more than 57 million tourists a year, including 4.1 million international guests. The Orlando International Airport (MCO) is the thirteenth busiest airport in the United States and the 29th busiest in the world.
As the most visited American city in 2009,Orlando's famous attractions form the backbone of its tourism industry: Walt Disney World Resort, located approximately 34 km southwest of Downtown Orlando in Lake Buena Vista, opened by the Walt Disney Company in 1971; the Universal Orlando Resort, which consists of the two parks of Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure; City Walk; SeaWorld; Gatorland; and Wet 'n Wild Water Park. With the exception of Walt Disney World, most major attractions are located along International Drive. The city is also one of the busiest American cities for conferences and conventions.
Orlando ranks as the fourth most popular American city based on where people want to live according to a 2009 Pew Research Center study.
Hahaha according to Dayron, "There's nothing else to do
there besides Disney"! Thank you for the shaped card!

Bulgaria shaped card

Excerpt: Bulgaria is world famous for its long centuries of folklore
traditions in the field of the musical and dance arts. The voices of
Bulgarian performers of folk songs are cosmic and mystical. The
magic of their performance is completed with the incredible splendor
of traditional clothing.

A great shaped card which is actually the map of Bulgaria. Love
the colourful card showing the costumes and traditions of Bulgarians.
thanks Simona for this card from the start of your Balkan adventure :D

Shaped card from Portugal

Azulejos

In Portugal, azulejos are found on the interior and exterior of churches, palaces, ordinary houses and even railway stations or subway stations. They constitute a major aspect of Portuguese architecture as they are applied on walls, floors and even ceilings. They were not only used as an ornamental art form, but also had a specific functional capacity like temperature control in homes. Many azulejos chronicle major historical and cultural aspects of Portuguese history.

Just one last card to add to my Portugal collection(I think that's the last of it). If you ever go to Portugal, the azulejos on the buildings are really amazing, some taking up entire walls or as a centerpiece in the train station, truly breathtaking.
Obrigada Libania for this beautiful card!
