Elaborate offerings are brought to the temple on festival days

The last day of the celebration is Kuningan, when they return. The date is calculated according to the 210-day Balinese calendar. The date is calculated according to the 210-day Balinese calendar.
I was very lucky to be in Bali during the Galungan festival last year in September. To fit in with the locals,my travel buddy, Vikki and I,went shopping at the market for traditional wear, the Kebaya and sarong skirt. We were of course fleeced for our tourist dollars at the market and at the Besakih temple. Still it was a really nice experience to see all the Penjor lining the streets.
Thank you Monie for this beautiful festive card
