Embroidered dolls: The Harijan Meghwar community of leather workers who migrated from Rajasthan are expert weavers and leather craftsmen. The women who make these dolls create exquisite embroidery and often combine their craft with leather work done by men. In this community, beautiful embroideries are an essential part of women's wedding dowries. Married women wear elaborately decorated costumes while widows wear much more subtle embroidery.
