Goris and Karabakh - Day 26 - 29

Just when you're all set to go, the stomach seems to have other thoughts, it rumbles and the toilet becomes your best friend for the morning. I needed a fix and unfortunately the medication my mom stuffed into the backpack is in Mandarin. I can't read it.

Yerevan: Day 24-25

Day 24

Yerevan is surprisingly a modern city. We had a rather relaxed day as it had been strenuous toll on my friend who did all the driving, who had some nosebleed instances although I think the beautiful Armenian girls are the cause of it :p

So the city is very nice, I had thought Armenia's capital would be a poor dirty city but the big leafy boulevards, and urban planning is astounding,thanks to the work of Alexander Tamanian. It actually felt as though I was walking in an American city and I've never even been to the USA but watching a lot of television series help to lend that feeling.

Hello Armenia - Day 23

So here at last I write after a really long day on the road , I had plenty of time to reflect between snoozing through my navigation job and entertaining my friend at the wheel with my not so interesting stories haha.

From Tbilisi to Yerevan it was only 290km, roughly 3 1/2 hrs of driving. Little did we know that my phone's GPS had decided the quickest way through, without speed limits , was to go off road.

Our drive took us 9hours :(

The road was broken asphalt full of holes. For 30km, we went at 10-20km per hour, it was one long drive.
